What almost every church or religious magazine is proclaiming today regarding the return of Jesus is contrary to what Seventh-day Adventists understand to be the truth about the advent. Furthermore; in this unprecedented surge of interest in the Second Advent; among the books selling in the hundreds of thousands; there is not one written by a Seventh-day Adventist. When this modern religious phenomenon is commented on in the secular press; many persons and churches are referred to as its responsible leaders and driving forces; but in no instance have we read of a reference to Seventh-day Adventists as one of these leading influences. Have Seventh-day Adventists become passé; having served their time? Is it time for more dynamic voices to be heard? Why aren't Seventh-day Adventists surrounded by millions who have suddenly discovered how correct Seventh-day Adventist have been all along?
